There's a performing kitty and a watching kitty in this video. Fitzi was a short-medium haired black kitty with polydactyl (extra toes) front paws. Andy, also called CreamPuff, was a ragdoll cat. Fitzi had a tendency to eat too much. So, we bought a holder for plastic canisters, and we put food in them--for Fitzi to scoop out. Thus, he got a little exercise, and he obtained food that he had to work for. He was very adept at getting the treats out of the canisters. Andy watched Fitzi intently.
I was at the Calgary Zoo in June 2010. I saw a flamingo repeatedly tapping its bill on a mat. I wondered whether it might be trying to flush whatever insect life might be under the mat, since insects are part of their diet. I made a video and set it to music. It seemed like a flamenco scene, because of the rapid sound that the bill was making on the mat--kind of like castanets. As well it seemed to be dancing. I saw that it is still in YouTube. So, I copied the URL and pasted it here.
I made this video in 2017. We had been on a river cruise from Basel to Amsterdam. The video shows highlights from our visit to some areas in Switzerland prior to the beginning of our cruise. The cog railway and the mountain scenes were at Mt. Pilatus, which is near Lucerne.
This video shows photos that I took as our 2017 river cruise progressed from Switzerland to Germany and into France. A few of the early photos are the same as some of the ones in the first video.
